At the March 2nd Executive Board Meeting of the Florida Fire
Marshals Association, final approval was given to begin the "Florida
Association of Fire and Life Safety Educators" as a section under
the FFMIA.
The FAFLSE will provide a support system for fire and life safety
educators, consisting of , but not limited to, education, training
and networking.
The Public Educators of the Year Award will now be awarded at the
Annual Fire and Life Safety Education Conference. Peers or
supervisors may now make
nominations.
