Integrated Testing and Maintenance of Fire Alarms and NFPA 72 - 1.5 hours

The class has been approved for 1.5 CEUs for the Fire Inspector, Fire Code Administrator, Fire Investigator, Fire Instructor and Fire and Life Safety Educator.

This course is being held in conjunction with an FFSA event. 

The inspection, testing and maintenance requirements of fire alarms systems, including their initiating devices and notification appliances, can be found in Chapter 14 of the National Fire Protection Association’s Code NFPA 72. The purpose for these inspection, testing, and maintenance requirements is to ensure that the fire alarm system is operating properly in accordance with the design documents

This course will cover visual inspections of alarms, testing of fire alarm components, and schedules, including both inspection and maintenance.
