FIRESTOPPING - Installation and Inspection - 2 CEUs
IN PERSON ONLY EVENT
Firestopping is a necessary component of building construction/maintenance to protect lives and meet building code requirements. Correct installation is crucial to ensuring that firestop performs as intended in the event of a fire. Inspectors, building officials, engineers, architects, and contractors often need to perform firestop inspections, reviews, and walk-throughs to ensure requirements have been met. This course will help attendees understand the requirements of correct firestopping and be able to recognize indicators of proper or poor installation. Common applications, challenges, and best practices will also be reviewed.
